We have had, and are still seeing tremendous growth; one of our clients recently said that Myrtle Beach is like Las Vegas without the gambling. Sluggish sales that hit the US, have affected Myrtle Beach. They said 2006 was a slow year in Real Estate, but according to the analysis that we just completed, 2007 is starting off even slower. It is for this reason that we have started researching ways to help sell your property in a shorter period of time. We won’t accept a slower market to mean no sales. The Willis Team is active during this slow time; you will always find one of us in the office. We have found that people from Florida were #1 in buying property in South Carolina, so we began a marketing campaign directed towards Floridians. Our goal is to be marketing internationally by the end of the year. It is a slow process, but we are actively seeking ways to accomplish this. We know that the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is helpful, but it takes more than that to sell in our market. We will continue to update you on what is going on in your community, and if you have any questions or concerns let us know.
